The DUCTILCRETE® engineered slab systems yield floors that are thinner yet more dense and impact-resistant when compared to traditional concrete slabs. Due to lower differential shrinkage, up to 98% of a DUCTILCRETE® slab remains in contact with the ground, as compared with less than 50% for a conventionally designed concrete slab. This makes the slab much more durable and less likely to suffer from damage by forklifts and other material handling vehicle traffic.
